Thomas Stauffer |
|
Thomas Stauffer started diving in 2002. Knowing the underwater world by 70's TV shows as "The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau" and his training as a biologist, he was eager to explore this world in more depth.
After hundreds of dives all over the globe, Thomas is still deeply impressed by the beauty and diversity of the underwater world, the variety of the species and their adaptation to the environment. The barely known behavior and interaction of the various creatures in the sea fascinates him in particular.
In his pictures, Thomas Stauffer intends to capture his fascination and emotions from underwater and share them with a broader audience. He has shown his pictures at several exhibitions and been a recipient of a number of awards, but his main intention is, to carry the spectator into the captivating underwater world. |
